What is an estate manager?

An estate manager supervises and manages of all of the domestic staff of the estate such as the housekeepers, chef, gardeners, housemen, nanny, security team, etc.  They also serve as a project manager on any construction project and coordinate any outside vendors that may be needed such as plumbers, electricians, cable TV provider, etc.  All estate events such as holiday parties, fundraisers or social gatherings are coordinated by the estate manager.  With all of this oversight, there is also the associated administrative paperwork that is handled by the estate manager.

Estate Manager Salary

Weekly salary range is $1,400-$2,885 or $72,800-$150,020 annually.
