The idea of opening up my own domestic staffing agency began through a series of conversations between my executive housekeeper and myself.  Dayanara, as I call her, mentioned that she had always wanted to open up her own agency since she knew a lot of people in the domestic worker industry.

However, she never did because she was always busy working full time and didn’t have the capital to start up a business.

Ironically, I had a fleeting thought that I could also open my own agency after the experience that I had with hiring six housekeepers all within a six-month timeframe.

I was just happy to have finally found the perfect housekeeper.  She was receiving a lot of inquiries from previous employers as to whether she could go and work for them and quit working for me.

Conversely, she was receiving many calls from colleagues and friends who needed a new housekeeping job or houseman job.  Albeit, it was during the coronavirus shutdown that the conversations quickly became serious and Majestic Domestic Staffing Agency was formed.

Dayanara had all the industry contacts with her network of colleagues and I had the business sense.  We quickly got things in motion.

By the time the shutdown is over, our website would be up and running and ready for business.  As of this writing, we are still in a shutdown situation, but we are ready to serve the estates of Southern California and get people employed!
